Company Information and History
The company has been in business since 1991, and joined the Bidvest Group in 2001. We are committed to be the leading distributor of grocery and allied products into the leisure, hospitality and food service industries. From inception, M&M has always focused on service and reliability. We align ourselves to the hospitality industry as opposed to the distribution industry which underscores the company's fundamental rule – NO surprises for our customers.
Additional Information
As part of our Corporate Social Development, we have adopted an underprivileged pre-school in Diepsloot called Mother Touch Academy.
We chose this cause, as we feel that every child deserves the best education to get them on the right path for their future, We are committed to assist this school grow, so that each child that passes this Academy is set on the right path.
The Jungle Tots Mother Touch Academy was born out of a need to provide pre-school and educational services to children in the impoverished Diepsloot community. They opened their doors as an NPO on 3 August 2009 with an overwhelming response and need from the community. They have over 120 children attending pre-school and numerous children on the waiting list for our Sponsor-a-Child's education programme. Many parents receive grants that barely cover their living expenses and schooling is an expense that seems out of reach. Their goal is to provide pre-school education opportunities to 150 children in Diepsloot and beyond and to develop them mentally, physically, socially and emotionally.
